Dental Assistant Pro is certified through the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools – Registration # 04-11-1742T for the Lebanon School and 05-03-1751T for the Columbus School and through the Indiana Commission on Proprietary Education #AC-0185.

Our Ohio students also graduate with a Radiology State certification. Our Indiana class is an Indiana State Department of Health approved educational program for dental radiography. There are three components to getting your dental X-Ray license in Indiana. First is attending the education program, second is the certification of proficiency and third is the passing of the DANB RHS exam. Dental Assistant Pro provides the first two components during our class. The DANB test is only given at qualified testing centers, but we teach all the information needed to pass the test. After graduation, the student's records are mailed to the state of Indiana, which issues an exam date and location.

Dental Assistants are responsible for the critical day-to-day operations in a dental office. These tasks include general office duties, assisting the dentist in all procedures, taking X- Rays, sterilizing equipment, removing sutures, applying topical anesthetic, patient relations, maintaining patient records and much more.
